We created The I Keep Dancing Scholarship as a tribute in loving memory of Julia Gardner, our sister, daughter and best friend. Julia, a longtime restaurant veteran, returned to school at the age of 27 after years of setbacks, to finally finish her degree. This journey wasn’t easy, and she often felt insecure about how long it would take to accomplish her goals. But she kept moving forward — with joy, and grace, and humor. She kept dancing.

Scholarship update: We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s support since Julia passed away. As you can imagine, it’s been a really hard few years, but your support and encouragement have meant the world to us and have truly helped us heal.
The scholarship we created in Julia’s honor is currently in process with the Orange County Community Foundation. Thank you for your patience as we continue to set it up properly.
